Won't Poop in Potty

My 3 yr old has been successfully peeing in the potty for about 2 months now, with no daytime accidents. Pooping is a whole different story! The only time he'll go in the potty is if I actually catch him in the act and physically take him and sit him on the potty. I've tried incentives; toys, snacks, fun activities, ect. He just doesn't seem to care! When I ask him why he's pooping in his big boy underwear he says b/c I want to. I just don't know what else to do!

what i do is take my kid to the comfort room with me, well not when i poop but when i just pee, so she can see and copy what i do. usually, kids copy what mommy or daddy does so you can try this and see. hope this helps
